| Both Vivian and Michael
have been blessed with great families! (Below Left) This photo was taken during our
trip to Alaska in 2008. Michael's brother
(Kevin) and sister-in-law are on the left, with
Michael's parents (Alan & Elise) in the center and Michael's sister (Kathy)
and her family on the right. (Below Right) Vivian was in South Carolina
in 2007 for this family birthday party. Our daughter Beth is on the right;
going around the table are Beth's cousin Tracy, Vivian's sister Maxine and
her husband, Vivian's mom (Esther), and Vivian's brother (Bill) and his
wife. There are more photos on page 2. |

(Left)
Michael's Mom and Dad, Alan & Elise Krigline, have visited us
several times in China. Here we stand together in Chongqing after a trip down the
Three Gorges (2001).
(Right)
Our daughter's only visit to China was January 16-28, 2001. Here, she
and Andrew stand in front of Shanghai's 400-year-old Yu Yuan Tea House. |

Beth's trip was actually her "graduation present." In this photo (from left to right): Beth's Grandparents (the Sawyers), Beth, Vivian's
parents (the Alls) and Vivian at Beth's graduation from Southeastern
College, December 2000. |

Unfortunately,
the weather was terrible while Beth was in Shanghai (it was cold and wet,
and she never saw the sun!). (Above center) She and Andrew pose on the
Bund, in front of Shanghai's
Oriental Pearl TV tower.
(Above right) She and Andrew stayed warm and dry by spending a lot of
time in our apartment, often building with
Lego and watching movies.
Beth was married
from 2004 to 2009; she now lives in South Carolina. |

(Left) During our
trip to the US in 2004, the whole family got involved in Andrew's
Science Fair project (building and racing "pinewood" cars to study the
effects of weight and resistance).

The 2009 photo (in the center) was also taken in Hong Kong; the 1999 photo
was taken in South Carolina just before our first trip to China as a
family. |
