Technology Note: Trans-pacific Internet connections are inconsistently dependable, so one can sometimes upload only if he happens to try at just the right time, and even then it can take multiple tries and multiple hours to be successful. Unfortunately I can find no time (day or night) that assures success. I apologize if you get an incomplete page (sometimes my software deletes things but times-out before uploading replacements). We also experience restricted access to web-based E-mail sites (e.g., hotmail and yahoo) from time to time. Please keep this in mind if you send us E-mail. Sorry for the inconvenience. Michael

Regarding .CN: We have created this China-based version of the website so that the pages will load quicker for our students in China. Because of various communication problems, we periodically have a good deal of difficulty uploading changes (navigation buttons sometimes also disappear throughout the website). To make the website smaller (or to comply with China's content restrictions) we have deleted several pages (especially photo pages & articles) which may still be available at www.krigline.com -- hopefully you will see special instructions when you go to "missing" pages. Otherwise, the content of www.krigline.com and www.krigline.com.cn are identical. While Michael taught at 西北工业大学, we registered this website with the appropriate authorities. (see below)
